Proposal for the Predaia Symposium 2023:
The sculpture proposed by Marija is entitled “The Heartbeat”.
The sculpture will represent a human heart set in an iron cage, wrapped in tongues of fire.
Fire melts iron and frees the heart, giving it light and warming it.
The heart represents nature and humanity, the world in which we live.
The iron pipes represent the world and the chaos around us, which takes our breath away and the ability to manipulate and use nature for one’s purpose.
The fire and the light give warmth and protection, melting the iron and freeing the heart, saving us from evil.
