She currently she continues with her artistic creation in sculpture, defining herself as follows:
“I can say that art is the expression of the soul, regardless of the subject, time or its form of representation. My works are a reflection of the time in which I live, in which humanity, society, politics and feelings occupy an important place: there is no art, but a social and humanitarian commitment, deepening the problems that have always been imposed on the artist – balance, shape, space, light, color, movement – by analyzing past solutions in history to achieve the objective of current technical problems “.
From an early age she has been interested in the importance of self-education, of new methodologies to get to knowledge. She collaborates in volunteer projects with her creativity and with the belief that a social change that comes from education is possible. In fact, she approaches the problems of the world from an unusual point of view, believing in the Self, as a unique element regardless of nation, religion or gender. She utopian in her works of hers, as a means of recalling the deepest that is within us, giving voice to what the world experiences.
Some of her works are permanently exhibited as public works or in private collections in France, Denmark, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
Art is a reflection of human culture, which is why it serves to preserve the cultural heritage of society and pass it on from generation to generation.
She tells the story of the present and the past focusing on the souls who inhabited this planet.
In addition, it is subjective, it is expressed in a universal and understandable language for any human being, as it appeals to our senses, emotions and ability to think. If art is not intended / communicative with the popular public, it is not art.
Realization for the Symposium of Predaia 2022:
The sculpture proposed by Marta has the title “Volar(e)”.
The goal is to tell the concept of nature as a living being in a poetic form, centered on the situation experienced in recent years.
A bit like our children who found themselves in a sort of cage, to avoid contact with the virus. They have been prisoners, like caged birds, without being able to develop their natural path.
A call to take care of our children, their and our future, always in constant motion, like our growing little ones.
