Marco Pangrazio

We know the Artist: 

After many years in the field of catering and night club management, Marco manages to turn what was a simple passion into a real job.

He deals with wood craftsmanship, approaching this material from different points of view: from furniture, to renovation, to the construction and assembly of fixtures, to the creation of sculptural works.

In the last ten years, in fact, he has managed to implement the carpentry work with the creation of wooden sculptures.

He approaches sculpture thanks to the passion transmitted by the elderly of the town; then he follows the courses and the precious indications of the master Gianangelo Longhini first and of the master Beppino Lorenzet after.

He participates every year in various wooden sculpture competitions.

Realization for the Symposium of Predaia 2022:

The sculpture proposed by Marco has the title “Wasp with its nest” (orig. “Vespa con il suo nido”).

The work that I intend to perform at the “Predaia Arte e Natura” Symposium is a wasp with its nest.

With this work I would like to enhance the extraordinary engineering that wasps adopt in the construction of their nests.
