The sculpture created by Ayhan has the title “Nowruz”.
The celebration of the arrival of spring in Anatolia, and in all the regions where Turkish culture is spreading, has an extremely deep-rooted character and a rich history.
It is celebrated on March 21, when day and night are the same.
In the winter cold, you suddenly get rid of all the excesses that you have allowed yourself.
The earth smiles in your face with its perfume. The flowers through the branches that have just begun to bloom will accompany you on your way.
When you turn your head, you see a festival. The arrival of spring is like peeling a fruit, or opening a colorful gift wrapped for you.
The artist therefore wants to convey these feelings, creating a form that gets rid of its excess and renews itself.
